Woking RFC president Sean Elder is pleased to announce the finalised plans for this year’s Presidents Day. Woking Committee has worked tirelessly to make this event happen and here are the details:-
1000hours - all Presidents and 2nd XV players to meet at Camphill
1100hours – Woking 2nd XV v Presidents XV
1330hours – Presidents Lunch – Invited guests only
1500hours – Woking RFC v Farnham RFC
1700hours – Festivities at Camphill. BBQ in the evening.
Woking II XV travelled to Old Caterhamians on Saturday knowing that only a win would secure the league title. Woking warmed full of passion and enthusiasm however knowing what was at stake nerves were evident. Old Cats had been boosted with the Easter break allowing some of their younger university players to return.

What has been a fantastic season culminating in three years of effort to build a second team may finally come to fruition this Saturday. Anyone who is free Saturday should come over and cheer the guys on as they try to secure the final game. Kick off is at 3pm away at Old Cats.
As the season draws to a close Woking first XV can not help but wonder what might have been. A recent run of form has propelled the team to fourth in the league ahead of this weekends clash with Haslemere at the Rec. Kick off is at 3pm so head down to watch the match and cheer the team on in the last league game.
Both Woking sides have lost their opposition league matches this weekend, with both Egham and Old Rushlitians cancelling, leaving Woking looking for a new match.
A new friendly has been arranged as a club XV with Woking travelling to play Camberley III XV away.

Woking II XV welcomes Wandsworthians II XV to the Rec this weekend for a friendly. Woking are looking to continue their current good form but have to a name a changed side due to absenteeism. The hopes of three infamous Bennett’s on the field were dashed when Tom Bennett declared he had girlfriend duties to attend to!!!
However a good game should prevail, kick off is at 3pm, all are welcome to come down and support.

This Saturday Woking RFC travel to take on the Met. Police in the quarter finals of the Surrey Bowl. With skipper Adam Smith missing due to injury, Mike Aitchison takes over the captaincy.
