Subscription and Match Fees

It is simple a full year playing membership at Woking RFC will cost you £25 a month. By doing this you will cover your membership AND subs for all games. Memberships can be taken out at any point of the year and runs on a pay per month model to make it easier for personal budgeting and club admin for the committee.

Your £25 a month will get you:

• Insurance and eligibility to play
• A qualified coach
• Club tie
• Clean matchday kit (shirt, short, socks)
• Tape and medical kit
• Post match food
• Training facilities
• Kit and equipment
• Referees
• Membership to Camphill
• Post match awards
• Opportunities to apply for international tickets
• Eligibility to vote and stand for roles at AGM
• Accessible and affordable rugby

If you’d prefer not to take up membership, there is a category for non-voting ad-hoc players (Pay Per Play) who will still have to pay match subs on the day but won’t have access to the membership features listed above.

As a club we aim to be a fully accessible grass roots club, we do offer the opportunity for our existing/new members who are students or those suffering hardship to apply for student/concessionary rates (student rates require sight of student ID). Any agreements on individual circumstances must be agreed with the Club Treasurer.

You can do this by contacting with the Club Chairperson, Hon. Sec, Treasurer, First XV Captain and/or the Membership Secretary. Please note this will be treated in the strictest of confidence and not identifiable outside of these parties. Our Membership Team are on hand if you have any questions about a new, or existing membership.

• Within your payment reference your name e.g. Joe Blogs subs
• Once you have set up/made your payment please email wokingrugby@gmail.com notifying the club of your payments

Please note:

1. The £25 a month figure is calculated over 12 equal payments.
2. If you are unable to play due to injury or other commitments talk to the club about reducing your payments. Please don’t stop paying and expect everyone to be ok about it.
3. Nonpayment of subs and match fees will impact your eligibility to play.
4. The days of freebies are over. You will be asked to pay your way.
5. The club has limited sources of income and subs, and match fees are the lifeblood of the club.
6. A standard playing membership has been £25 a month since 2015. As a committee we appreciate that the current climate is tough but if we adjusted the rate to reflect current rates of inflation, we would have to be asking for £32.73 a month.
7. If everyone pays the committee commits to looking at providing additional benefits such as hire of better training facilities during winter months, minibuses or subsidised travel for away games, physios, or free stash.
