Whether you are a current or ex-player, supporter or friend of the club this years AGM promises to be one that you do not want to miss. I am pleased to be able to share with you the news that the club has received a formal offer to build a clubhouse co-located with playing fields at Byfleet recreational ground.
We've been here before, so many times, right?
NO! not this time. In all the deals over the years that have come and gone, the first hurdle was to find land and long term tenure was always a show stopper for many reasons but mostly because we were made promises by individuals with no intention of ever fulfilling them.
Be absolutely clear about one thing we have passed the first hurdle and you can hear from me directly as chairman, about the future prosperity of Woking Rugby club, what more could you ask from an AGM!
Now your club needs you.
It goes without saying that if it had not been for a dedicated few over the last couple of seasons we would not be going into this years AGM or new season with renewed positivity. However, they can not do it alone and I urge any of you who can help by volunteering to be on next years committee to do so and register your intention to stand by clicking on the button below.
I hope to see as many of you at Camphill on Saturday not just for the AGM but socially too. I hear there is some new stash to try on!
Best wishes.
